John Hyland is an author, motivational speaker, and financial advisor who is well known for his entrepreneurial skills. In 1988, Mr. Hyland graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Finance and two minors in Political Science and Bible Studies. Less than one year after graduating, he started his first company, which operated in the telecommunications industry. This business proved to be very successful and would eventually grow to $7 million in revenue and 110 employees. This success has established Mr. Hyland as the pre-eminent motivational speaker for entrepreneurs.

Mr. Hyland is now in the process of publishing a series of books about personal finance and how to produce golden eggs. His first book, due out shortly, is unofficially titled "I'm OK, you're not OK...Financially Speaking" and will focus on creating practical changes in our everyday life that can dramatically change our finances. This book will focus on the "three reasons why Americans buy", which are "Need", "Want", and the oft-overlooked "To profit from"—getting our money to work for us to create more wealth is a central premise of the book, and just one step in the process of changing our financial lives. Another central theme in this book is that there are only two ways to sell something, and nothing in between, an idea first popularized by financial speaker Jimmy S. Nonetheless, the book holds that these ideas will change the process of business-decisions all over the country and world.
